BUSET is the most talked about Indonesian magazine in Australia that is based in Melbourne, Victoria.
Put it simply, BUSET is an expression of surprise or awe, similar to ‘Wow!’ in the English language. BUSET prides itself in bringing the latest in community news and events. With Indonesian culture as our main focus, we also highlight the importance and significance of embracing multiculturalism in Australia.
Each month we distribute more than 3,500 copies for free in Victoria (mostly in Melbourne Metropolitan Area) and few hundreds across other Australian cities; Perth, Darwin, Adelaide and Canberra.
BUSET was launched officially on the 20th August 2005 by Indonesian Consulate General for Victoria and Tasmania, Mr. M Wahid Supriyadi. Also attending the ceremony, The Right Honorable Mr. Hong Lim M.P., Representing Minister for Gaming, Racing, Tourism and Minister Assisting The Premier on Multicultural Affairs in Victoria plus more than 150 guests.
Now entering our 13th year, we maintain free monthly publication across Australia with the majority of distribution points in Metropolitan Victoria. Our official website www.buset-online.com and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter) are always up to date with the latest and best around Australia for you, our readers.
We affiliate with major Indonesian organisations and communities in Australia, such as PPIA, INDONESIAN CLUB Inc., PERWIRA, IKA WIRIA and many more.
